The new Urban Communities Authority will offer 10 public bids within the coming two days in three cities, to erect 864 housing units within the scope of the social housing project in Akhmim. In addtion, other service projects will be constructed in 6th of October City and Obour.
Amin Ghoneim, head of the development authority in Obour, said four public tenders will be offered for companies registered at the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors, for expanding one of the city’s police departments, as well as preparing street signs at the project site. Another bid will be offered to improve the quality of the roads in some parts of the city.
Hossam Amin, head of the development authority in Akhmim, said five bids will be offered to companies registered at the Egyptian Federation for Construction and Building Contractors to establish an emergency desk and 864 housing units.
Abdel Motteleb Mamdouh, head of the development authority in 6th of October City, said a public bid will be offered to build a market, a health center, a nursery and a school.
