145 Brotherhood members detained for bombing towers, 52 for blocking highway

North and South Giza prosecutors ordered the detention of 145 Brotherhood members for 15 days on Sunday, pending investigations into charges of bombing high voltage and mobile towers and burning 11 police cars and seven other cars belonging to the Kerdasa City Council.

The suspects were arrested while rioting in several parts of Giza, as well as in crackdown campaigns.

Prosecutors have also ordered the detention of 52 other members on charges of blocking highways in Kerdasa, Nahia and Mansouriya while protesting court rulings issued against their group leaders.
