15 trucks of Qatari aid cross into Gaza from Rafah

An official source at the Rafah landport said 15 trucks carrying construction materials have crossed into the Gaza Strip as part of Qatari aid earmarked for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Another source said on Thursday that the Rafah port has been open for six days from both sides for humanitarian cases. It was originally opened for three days, but President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi extended it on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the source said.

The port has been closed since October 24 of last year, following the Karam al-Qawadis massacre, except for emergency and humanitarian cases.
