Better weather allows opening Alexandria, Dekheila seaports

The Alexandria Seaport Authority has decided to resume navigation at the Alexandria and Dekheila seaports due to improved weather conditions.

Major General Abdel Qader Darwish, head of the authority, said on Tuesday that the seaports would be closed to prevent ships from hitting each other or the platforms, as well as to maintain maritime navigation safety.

Alexandria is currently facing two storms that are usually accompanied by rains and eastern winds lasting for approximately six days.
