Chinese prison teaches technology to prisoners

After serving many years behind bars, inmates often have trouble coping with the technological advancement of the outside world when they finally leave prison. Some are even unable to do basic things like buy goods from malls, pay electronically and use credit cards.
 
Then newspaper China Daily talked about a prison in Beijing that built a simulation city to familiarize prisoners with the technology of the outside world. It includes a mall, an Internet cafe, a subway station and automatic teller machine. The prison act like bank officials and cashiers. They also teach the prisoners how to use computers and mobile phones.
