Antiquities Minister Khaled al-Anany has disclosed a 20 percent discount on the Luxor Pass ticket, which entitles visitorsto entry at all archaeological sites and museums in Luxor. The discount is extended to the annual visit permits of archaeological sites starting January 2017 for one month.
The decision was taken upon the approval of the Supreme Council of Antiquities on Sunday.
In remarks on Monday, Anany said that the decision comes ahead of celebrations of the New Year and Christmas, in order to encourage visits to archaeological sites and promote tourism.
