Egypt’s market gains LE3.5 billion on Thursday, EGX30 rises 1.18%

Egypt's market closed in the green zone on Thursday's session, with the benchmark index EGX30 increasing by 1.18 percent to record 8,731 points at a turnover of 474 million, according to the data from the Egyptian Exchange.

The broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index rose by .0.71 percent and 0.29 percent respectively.

Foreign and Arab institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE19.12 million and LE53.35 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE12.3 million.

The EGX market capital gained LE3.46 billion (US$455 million), to hit LE507.26 billion, compared to LE503.84 billion on Wednesday.
