Egypt’s market gains LE3.8 bn on Monday, EGX30 rises 1.4%

Egypt's stock market extended its gains on Monday, as the benchmark EGX30 index rose 1.36 percent to 7,650.65 points, with a turnover of LE848 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.

The small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index inched up by 0.01 percent and 0.48 percent respectively.

Arab and foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE6.5 million and LE16.8 million respectively, while local institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE57.8 million.

The EGX market gained LE3.76 billion (US$482 million), hitting LE457.87 billion, compared to Sunday's LE454.11 billion.
