Egypt’s market loses LE1.4 bn on Tuesday, EGX30 declines 1.1%

Egypt's market closed in the red zone during Tuesday's session, as the benchmark EGX30 index declined 1.05 percent to 7,331.53 points, with a turnover of LE389.2 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index went down by 1.13 percent and 0.69 percent, respectively.
 
Local and foreign institutions were net sellers recording net flows of LE15.7 million and LE17.2 million, respectively, while Arab institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE22.6 million.
 
The EGX market lost LE1.37 billion (US$176 million), hitting LE448.05 billion, compared to Monday's LE449.42 billion.
