Egypt’s market loses LE4.4 billion on Monday, EGX30 drops 1.7%

Egypt's market lost ground on Monday’s session, as the benchmark EGX30 index fell 1.65 percent, recording 8,371.53 points and a turnover of LE561 million, the Egyptian Exchange data showed.
 
Meanwhile, the small and mid-cap EGX70 index and the broader EGX100 index declined 1.34 percent and 1.12 percent, respectively.
 
Local and Arab institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE90.7 million and LE26.2 million, respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers, recording net flows of LE81.6 million.
 
The EGX market capital lost LE4.44 billion (US$584 million), hitting LE485.17 billion, compared to LE489.61 billion on Sunday.
