Egypt’s market loses LE7.4 billion on Monday, EGX30 drops 1.62%

Egypt's market incurred heavy losses on Monday's session, with the benchmark index EGX30 falling by 1.62 percent, recording 8,493.68 points and a turnover of 465.8million, according to the data from the Egyptian Exchange.
 
Meanwhile, the broader EGX70 index and the EGX100 index dropped by 2.8 percent and 2.2 percent, respectively.
 
Arab and local institutions were net sellers, recording net flows of LE3.4 million and LE25 million respectively, while foreign institutions were net buyers recording net flows of LE37.2 million.
 
The EGX market capital lost LE7.42 billion (US$976.3 million), to hit LE496.29 billion, compared to LE503.71 billion on Sunday.
