Egypt’s stock market loses LE5.7 billion on Tuesday while all indices up

Egypt's stock market lost LE5.7 billion on Tuesday, while all indexes remained up, due to the loss of large market capitalization like Commercial International Bank-Egypt (CIB).

The Egyptian stock exchange edged up as its main index EGX30 rose 0.46 percent to 9,220.19 points in total turnover of LE669 million.

The broader index EGX70 rose 1.36 percent, and EGX100 up 1.2 percent.

Foreign institutions were net buyers recording a net flow of LE71.69 million and LE3.35 million respectively.

Meanwhile, Arab intuitions and retail investors were net sellers recording net flows of LE71.55 million and LE10.17 million respectively.

EGX market capital gained LE5 billion to hit LE529.35 billion compared to LE535.05 billion on Tuesday.
