Egyptian students win best robot prize at China international competition

An Egyptian team of primary and preparatory school students has won the prize for the best robot design at an international competition held in Bejing which ended on November 24.
 
The World Adolescents Robot Contest 2015, organized by the World Robot Olympiad, welcomed participants from 16 different countries and 145 specialized institutions, giving the best design prize to the Egyptian team of six.
 
Marwa Saudi, the organization’s official representative in Egypt, said Egypt has participated in the competition’s editions over the past five years and plans to participate again in 2016.
 
“The aim behind the competition is to improve students' artistic, scientific, engineering and programming capabilities,” Saudi said.
