Supervisor of the Consular Section at the Egyptian embassy in Jordan chancellor Sherif Mokhtar on Monday said the embassy follows up the investigation into the killing of an Egyptian citizen in Amman on Saturday by an Iraqi citizen over a financial dispute.
The chancellor told MENA that the embassy are keen to enforce law and obtain the victim's rights.
The dead man's brother has filled a power of attorney for the embassy's lawyer to follow up the case and to ensure the rights of his brother, he added.
An Egyptian 30-year-old cafe owner was killed in Amman on Saturday during a brawl with an Iraqi person over a financial dispute.
