Heat wave expected from Saturday to Monday

Meteorologists are predicting a heat wave to hit Egypt on Saturday, with temperatures rising to reach a peak on Sunday and Monday.
 
Deputy Chairman of the Egyptian Meteorological Authority, Hassan Mohamed Hassan, said in a statement Wednesday that every part of the country can expect very hot weather as we move into the new week.
 
It will be a blustery few days in the north, with high winds also expected on the Mediterranean, the Red Sea and in on desert roads.
 
The authority advises people to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, especially between noon and mid afternoon. They encourage people keep hydration levels up by drinking lots of liquids.
 
Maximum temperatures predicted in degrees Celsius:
 
Cairo and the Delta: 41-43
 
North Coast and North Sinai: 38-40
 
Northern Upper Egypt: 42-43
 
South Sinai and Upper Egypt: 43-44
