Spokesperson for the Meteorological Authority, Wahid Seoudy, said on Friday that heavy rain is expected in Cairo and in the Delta within 48 hours. Torrential rain is expected in Sinai and Upper Egypt.
He added that temperatures will drop by eight to 10 degrees.
