Meteorologists are predicting hot, humid weather on Saturday in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the north Upper Egypt, with top a temperature of 36 degrees centigrade in Cairo.
Moderate weather is expected along the north coast, with highs of 31 degrees centigrade in Alexandria.
Upper Egypt should by much hotter, with 39 degrees in Qena, and 40 in Luxor and Aswan.
The maximum temperature in Sharm El-Sheikh and Hurghada will be 39 degrees.
A morning mist could mean low visibility early on along the north coast, in Lower Egypt and in Cairo. A low to medium level of cloud cover is forecast for the north.
Wind will be mostly moderate and northwesterly. It will be active in the Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea, Sinai, and south of the country.
Waves on the Mediterranean are expected to average between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while the Red Sea will see waves of between two and 2.5 meters, with a northwesterly surface wind.
