Hot weather expected for Sunday, Cairo 33C

Meteorologists expect hot weather to continue on Sunday across most of the country, with hotter temperatures in southern Upper Egypt during the day, turning colder at night across all parts.

Visibility will decrease in the morning due to dense mist throughout Lower Egypt, Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities.

Low- and medium-level clouds will increase over northern Upper Egypt, and the South Sinai and Red Sea governorates, accompanied by rainfall in som parts.

Winds, mostly northeasterly and moderate, will be active over western parts of the country.

The height of Mediterranean waves will reach between one to 1.5 meters, with northeasterly winds blowing; whereas the height of the Red Sea waves will reach between 1.5 to 2 meters, with southeasterly winds prevailing.

Maximum temperatures expected on Sunday are 33C in Cairo; 28C in Alexandria; 37C in Luxor; and 39C in Aswan.
