Hot weather expected Tuesday

Tuesday will see warm weather along the north coast, with top temperatures of 35 degrees centigrade, while Cairo and Lower Egypt should reach 38C.

 

Upper Egypt, meanwhile, will be very hot, with Luxor reaching 45C and Aswan 46C. Sham el-Sheikh, meanwhile, will hover around 40C.

 

Low and medium–level clouds will appear in the north, with dust in the air affect affecting visibility in the morning along the north coast, in Cairo and in Lower Egypt.

 

The wind will be mostly northeasterly, ranging in strength between light and moderate.

Winds will be stronger in Sinai, the south of Upper Egypt, the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez, affecting navigation.

 

Wave heights in the Mediterranean Sea are expected between 1 and 2 meters, with a northeasterly surface wind.

 

Wave heights in the Red Sea are expected between 1 and 2.5 meters, with a northwesterly surface wind.
