Jordanian spy sentenced to 10 years in prison, Mossad officer to life in absentia

The Supreme State Security Emergency Court on Wednesday sentenced the Jordanian spy Bashar to 10 years in prison and his accomplice, the Mossad officer, to life in absentia.

They have been convicted of spying for Israel and informing the Jewish state of the locations of army and police troops via tapping international calls.

Bashar’s reaction to the verdict was very quiet and his lawyer said the court was merciful.
