Mehleb: US$12 billion in international arbitration cases against Egypt, our position is ‘weak’

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb said Wednesday that the total number of international arbitration cases filed against the government amounted to US$12 billion, in which Egypt's  position  is "weak".

Mehleb confirmed that the government is working on legislative reforms related to investment laws that contribute to creating the right climate for attracting investors. This came in the Prime Minister's meeting with a number of TV talkshow hosts.

"These actions are important before we organize the economic conference next February." he added.
