Milder temperatures forecast for Cairo on Friday

Cold weather is predicted to prevail on Friday on northern coasts to be milder across the Delta and Cairo. Visibility will be reduced in the morning across the two latter regions, as well as north of Upper Egypt.

Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen in the north.

Moderate northeastern winds will blow across Halayeb and Shalateen. In the south, the winds will disturb maritime navigation on the Red Sea.

Highs of 19C will be felt in Cairo, and 18C in Alexandria. Mediterranean waves will reach heights of 1.5-1 meters with northeastern winds blowing across. Red Sea waves will rise to 2-2.5 meters, also with northwestern winds. 

Warm weather will prevail in Upper Egypt during the daytime to fall to extremely cold temperatures overnight. Highs of 22C will be reached in Qena, and 23C in Luxor.
