Milder weather prevails Monday

Cold weather is expected to prevail on northern coasts, turning milder in the Delta and Cairo, meteorologists said.

Visibility will be reduced in the morning along northern coasts, the Delta, Cairo and the Suez canal governorates. Low- and medium-level clouds will be seen in the north. Moderate northeasterly winds will blow.

Highs of 19 degrees centigrade will be reached in Cairo and 18 degrees in Alexandria.

The height of Mediterranean and Red Sea waves will reach between 1.5 to two meters with southwesterly winds blowing on the Mediterranean and northwesterly winds on the Red Sea.

Warm weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during daytime turning cooler during the night. Highs of 22 degrees will be reached in Qena, 23 degrees in Luxor and 26 degrees in Aswan.
