Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Sheriff Ismail announced the allocation of US$6 billion in investments for the manufacturing and refining projects with the purpose of securing energy supplies, providing the local market needs and reducing imports of petroleum products.
The Minister pointed out that it is planned to start implementation of three mega projects in the field of refining with investments of nearly $2.6 billion.
