Muslim Council of Elders discusses Israeli aggression on al-Aqsa Mosque

The Muslim Council of Elders, chaired by Al-Azhar Grand Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, is meeting on Thursday in Amman, Jordan to discuss the repeated Israeli aggressions on al-Aqsa Mosque, among other Islamic issues.

The council was formed in July of last year to promote peace in the Muslim world and stop the turmoil and strife that is leading to division among Muslims.
