PM strips 2 citizens of nationality for joining foreign agency, troops

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb has withdrawn Egyptian citizenship from two men, both of whom are permanently residing outside the country.

One of the men is Al-Mahdy Hosny Mahmoud Abed, who is said to belong to a foreign agency that works against social and economic orders. The other man is Abdullah Hussein Abdullah, who claims to work with foreign troops without having garnered permission from the defense minister first.

The name or the nature of this agency is unclear, as is the knowledge of which country the troops are from.
