Police disperse Brotherhood demonstration in 6th of October City

The police have used tear gas to disperse a demonstration, allegedly organized by members of the Muslim Brotherhood, in Juhaina Square in the 6th of October City on Monday. 
 
Eight Brotherhood members have been arrested and are currently being interrogated, in order to establish the identity of the organizers of the demonstration.
 
The demonstrators chanted slogans against the army and the police, while shop owners in the area closed their stores to avoid damages.
 
In a related context, clashes erupted on Sunday between the “Students against the Coup” group and the administrative security of Cairo University, with skirmishes on the street outside the campus.
 
15 students and 12 security personnel were injured.
