Police officers killed in Ismailia and Port Said

Three police officers were shot dead by unknown attackers driving an unlicensed car in Ismailia's Sammakin early Wednesday.
 
The officers were driving their vehcile back from a checkpoint on the Suez-Ismailia road, when the attackers shot them dead at several parts of their bodies before setaling their weapons and running  away.
 
Another traffic officer was also killed hours earlier in Port Said. The officer was on duty at Mohamed Ali Street, a main road leading to the Governorate and the Security Directorate buildings.
 
Corporal Fady Seif claims to have been assaulted by assailants bearing edged weapons near his residence. He had been a prime witness in the 2012 Port Said Stadium massacre case. His testimony had been central to the conviction of the province's former security chief, Essam Samak.
