A police officer was wounded by gunshot early on Saturday, in an armed attack on a police car in the 10th of Ramadan City.
Sergeant Omar Suleiman Mahdi, aged 33, was taken to hospital for treatment. He was shot in the arm by unknown gunmen, driving a while 4×4 SUV.
The prosecution is investigating the incident.
