Prime Minister Ibrahim Mehleb and Major General Mohamed Ibrahim led the military funeral held over death of Brigadier Ahmed Zaki, of 6 October sentral security troops, who passed away on Wednesday after bomb placed under his car exploded.
Several ministers, senior statesmen, Interior Ministry officials as well as colleagues and relatives of Zaki took part in the funeral.
Interior Ministry’s information said earlier said that Zaki was killed, another conscript was injured due to the blast. Security services are intensifying efforts to arrest the criminals.
