Rafah Crossing opened for humanitarian purposes

The Egyptian authorities have kept the Rafah border crossing open on Wednesday, allowing traffic from both sides for the second consecutive day, in order to allow the passage of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.
 
The authorities had agreed to open the crossing for three days.
 
458 people have crossed to the Egyptian side, 79 to the Palestinian side, in addition to 25 trucks carrying 1,845 tons of cement and 11 trucks carrying 495 cubic meters of gravel.
