Railway revenue rose by LE25.4 mn in November 2015: CAPMAS

The Railway Authority's revenue rose in November 2015 to stand at LE118.8 million, compared to LE93.4 million in November 2014, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said in its monthly report issued on Thursday.
 
The authority's revenues increased by LE25.4 million in November 2015, according to the report.
 
The number of train passengers increased in November 2015 to stand at 17.6 million, compared to 17.2 million in November 2014.
 
The amount of goods transferred through the railway rose to 363,200 tons in November 2015, compared to 335,900 tons in November 2014.
 
CAPMAS also reported that the number of flights recorded in November 2015 stood at 24,500, compared to 23,900 flights in November 2014.
