Sadat Metro Station closed indefinitely

The Egyptian Company for Metro Management and Operation closed Sadat Metro Station indefinitely on Tuesday, upon an order from security authorities.

The Sadat Metro Station will be closed starting Tuesday until further notice from the security, said a company source. The source did not disclose any further details on the reasons behind the closure.

The decision comes in the wake of top prosecutor Hesham Barakat's assassination Monday morning in a car bomb near his house in Heliopolis, as well as the injury of nine other people.
