Security tightened near Suez Canal on Eid al-Adha eve

Security forces have intensified their presence at the southern entrance of the Suez Canal as well as at the entrances and exits of Suez governorate on Friday, seeking to tighten security on the eve of the Islamic Eid Al-Adha feast, which starts Saturday and ends Tuesday.
 
A security source said on Friday that police arrested several drug dealers and outlaws over the past few hours.
 
Suez security chief Tarek Al-Gazzar said the exits and entrances of Suez are thoroughly secured, especially the Ahmed Hamdy tunnel that links the to Sinai.
 
He also said that police and army forces are jointly securing the navigational path at the Suez Canal.
