President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi arrived on Monday at the Chinese capital of Beijing for a two-day visit in response to an invitation by his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
The visit is the first official one for Sisi since he took office on 8 June.
The two presidents will hold a summit at the Great Hall of the People to be followed by talks in attendance of the two countries’ delegations. A signing ceremony on the comprehensive strategic partnership as well as several other bilateral agreements will take place.
