Sisi to take part in 2015 Moscow Victory Day Parade

According to the statement issued by the presidency, President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi will travel to Moscow on Saturday, in order to take part in the Russian Victory Day celebrations, commemorating the 70th anniversary of the capitulation of Nazi Germany in 1945
 
“The president's visit comes in response to an invitation from his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. The president will hold several official meetings on the sidelines of the celebrations,” Presidential Spokesperson Alaa Youssef said. 
 
Among the world leaders expected to attend this year's parade is President of Serbia, Tomislav Nikolić, President of Vietnam, Truong Tan Sang, the President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of China, Xi Jinping, the President of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea, Kim Yong-nam and the President of India, Pranab Mukherjee.
 
“President Sisi is expected to travel to Moscow once again, for an official visit to discuss bilateral relations and resume the negotiations that were started earlier in Russia and Cairo. The date of this visit has not been established yet,” Youssef added.
 
A presidential delegation headed to Moscow on Tuesday to prepare for the visit.
