Soldier injured in North Sinai roadside bombing

A soldier was injured on Tuesday morning following the explosion of an IED on Arish-Rafah road at the entrance to the city of Sheikh Zuweid in North Sinai.
 
Security sources in North Sinai said in a press statement that a local extremist group had planted explosives on the road used by the troops to access Rafah.
 
Soldier Aleem Mahmoud Khatib, aged 21 , was injured with shrapnels in his face, and he was transferred to Arish Military Hospital, according to the security sources.
