Thousands mourn victims of Mansoura bombing

Thousands of Mansoura residents on Tuesday attended the funeral of the victims who lost their lives in the Security Directorate terrorist attack.

Those in attendance included Daqahliya's governor and leaders of the police force.

The funeral turned into a protest against the Muslim Brotherhood and terrorism, with mourners holding pictures of Defense Minister Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

Police fired 21 shots in tribute to the victims, and the bodies were placed in ambulances for burial in their respective hometowns.

The bombing killed 13 people and wounded more than 100 others, according the latest reports.

Though the perpetrators remain unknown, officials have been quick to point fingers at the Brotherhood as those responsible for the attacks.
