Three beheaded bodies found in Rafah

Residents of Rafah, North Sinai found on Sunday evening three beheaded bodies dumped in the desert area south of Rafah, according to a medical source.

The bodies were taken to the morgue at the Arish General Hospital, while prosecutors began investigations.

The Sinai Province group affiliated with ISIS had on August 28 claimed responsibility for beheading four men in Sinai for allegedly colluding with Israel.

North Sinai has been witnessing violence between armed groups and the army and the police since the army ousted President Mohamed Morsi, who belonged to the Muslim Brotherhood, after mass protests against him in 2013.
