Transport Ministry signs MoU with Siemens company

Transport Minister Hany Dahy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Egyptian National Railways and the Siemens company to develop an electrical system for railway signals.
 
Renowned Egyptian civil engineer Hany Azer and Maximilian Egger, CEO of Siemens in Egypt, attended the event.  
 
The protocol was signed by the head of the Egyptian Railway Authority, Ahmed Hamed, who is the respresentative for the Transport Ministry, as well as Siemens' company representatives.
 
Dahy stressed that the signing of the MoU comes within the framework of developing the railway infrastructure in Egypt.
