Two people commit suicide in Cairo, Kafr al-Sheikh

A university student threw himself from the Cairo Tower on Saturday, while another one committed suicide by jumping under the train in Kafr al-Sheikh.
 
In Cairo, security services notified Qasr al-Nil police station that a young man had jumped from the top of the tower. Police troops arrived to the scene of the incident, to find the body of a 22-year old student of the American University in Cairo. According to preliminary investigations, the victim had been suffering from a psychological disorder. 
 
In Kafr al-Sheikh, a 24-year old man had left a message to his mother before committing suicide. He asked her to forgive him and to pray for him. In his message, he also said that he did not want to be a burden for her, as he was unemployed.
 
According to investigations, the young man had been seriously wounded two months ago, when he fell off a motorbike, and he decided to commit suicide to relieve his mother of the costs of his treatment.
