Two policemen dead, eight injured in Arish IED attack

A police car was targeted with two IEDs on Arish highway killing two policemen and injuring eight others on Friday morning. 

"The policemen who were killed in this terrorist attack were from Kafr Al-Sheikh," said Major Ahmed Al-Amawy, media spokesman for Kafr Al-Sheikh Security Directorate.
 

The victims, Hany Ramadan Galal and Fatehy Al-Sayed Fatehy, were killed as their police car was targeted by an IED on Friday.

Kafr Al-Sheikh Security Directorate contacted the families of the victims to arrange for a military funeral in their hometowns attended by Major General Abdel Rahman Sharaf, head of Kafr Al-Sheikh Security Directorate and other police and executive leaders in the governorate.

A medical source in North Sinai said the injured are Hamdy Shaaban, Emad Fatehy, Mubarak Al-Sayed, Ahmed Mabrouk Mohamed, Mohamed Fatehy, Mohamed Ibrahim, Hisham Mahmoud and Fatehy Al-Saeed.
