Update: US dollar sees significant increase

US dollar exchange rate experienced a significant increase during Wednesday's transactions.

At the National Bank of Egypt, the purchasing rate rose to LE16 and the selling rate to LE16.1, up from LE15.7 for purchasing and LE15.75 for selling earlier.

At Banque Misr, the purchasing rate recorded LE15.85 and the selling rate LE15.95, up from LE15.67 for purchasing and LE15.72 for selling earlier today. At Banque du Caire, the purchasing rate moved to LE15.85 and selling rate to LE15.95, up from LE15.7 for purchasing and LE15.8 for selling earlier.

At the Arab African International Bank, the purchasing rate reached LE15.99 and the selling rate LE15.9, up from LE15.74 for purchasing and LE15.84 for selling earlier on Wednesday. At the Commercial International Bank, the purchasing rate increased to LE16.1 and the selling rate to LE16.2, up from LE15.7 for purchasing and LE15.8 for selling.

At Baraka Bank, the purchasing rate recorded LE16.1 and the selling rate LE16.2, up from LE15.77 for purchasing and LE15.87 for selling earlier. At Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the purchasing rate is now LE15.92, up from LE15.9. The selling rate remained stable at LE16.

At Bank of Alexandria, the purchasing rate rose to LE16 and the selling rate to LE16.1, up from LE15.75 for purchasing and LE15.85 for selling earlier in the day. At the National Bank of Greece, purchasing rate reached LE15.9, up from LE15.8, and the selling rate reached LE15.95, up from LE15.9.
