US dollar declines again in Egypt’s banks

US dollar exchange rate declined against Egyptian pound on Wednesday after fluctuating between increases at some banks and decreases as well as stability at other banks, amid an ongoing decline that started at beginning of February.

The purchase rate at the National Bank of Egypt, Banque Misr and Banque du Caire was LE15.7. The selling rate reached LE15.75 at NBE and Banque Misr, compared to LE15.77 at Banque du Caire.

Meanwhile, the purchase rate at the Arab African International Bank recorded LE15.76, compared to LE15.75 at Commercial International Bank and Al Baraka Bank. The selling rate was LE15.86 at AAIB, compared to LE15.85 at CIB and Al Baraka Bank.

The purchasing rate stood at LE15.75 at the Bank of Alexandria and the National Bank of Greece, while selling rate was LE15.85 at both banks.
