The Cairo Criminal Court has set 19 February as the date it would issue its verdict on the appeal filed by former Interior Minister Habib al-Adly and three other police officers. Adly and the officers had been ordered to pay a fine of LE75,000 in compensation to a student that had allegedly been tortured in a police station in the 6th of October City.
Shadi Maged Saad, the victim, had requested a compensation of LE500,000.
