Weather forecast for Tuesday

Meteorologists predict hot and humid weather on Tuesday in Cairo and Lower Egypt, and hotter weather in the north of Upper Egypt, with a maximum of 33 degrees centigrade in the captial.
 
Very hot weather is predicted in the south of Upper Egypt. Qena should hit 41C, while Luxor will be around 40C and Aswan around 42C.
 
The north of Egypt, meanwhile, will be cooler, with Alexandria at 31C, while the Sinai resort town of Sharm el-Sheikh will be a much warmer 38C.
 
Mist will affect visibility on roads in the morning along the north coast, in Cairo, Lower Egypt, and the Suez Canal cities. Medium and low-level clouds are expected along the north coast, the north of Upper Egypt and Sinai.

There is the possiblity of light rain in Sinai.

 
The wind will be mostly northwesterly and moderate in strength. It will be active in the south of Egypt, accompanied by dust. It will be active as well in the Red Sea, and the Gulf of Suez, possibly disrupting maritime navigation.
 
Waves on the Mediterranean are expected to average between 1.5 and 2 meters high, while on the Red Sea they should be 2.5 to 3 meters high. A northwesterly surface wind is expected in both seas.
