Windy and cold wintry weather is expected to prevail in the north on Monday, meteorologists said.
Rain clouds will appear along the northern coasts, with southwesterly winds blowing, which will disturb maritime navigation in the Mediterranean and Red seas.
Highs of 15 degrees centigrade will be felt in Cairo and 14 degrees in Alexandria.
Moderately mild weather will be felt in Upper Egypt during the daytime, turning extremely cold at night across the nation.
Highs of 17 degrees centigrade will be reached in Qena and Luxor, and 18 degrees in Aswan.
The height of Mediterranean waves will reach between 2.5 to three meters, whereas the height of Red Sea waves will reach between 1.5 to two meters.
