Arab Contractors Co. to develop Sharm el-Sheikh Airport building

The Arab Contractors Company announced that the Cabinet has assigned it to develop passengers building number 2 at Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport at a cost of LE450 million, said Mohsen Salah, Chairman of the company.

The airport is affiliated to the Egyptian Holding Company for Airports and Air Navigation.

The development plan includes the rehabilitation of the main hall and its expansion to raise its capacity from three million to five million tourists a year, said Salah.

The director of the Arab Contractors Co. branch in Sinai Mubarak Mansour, said that the number of passenger lounges will be increased from 8 to 12 halls; in addition to a comprehensive development of green spaces; entrances and exits; and the application of the latest scientific methods along the lines found at other international airports worldwide.
