Arsenal to hold talks over £10 million el-Neny transfer

Arsenal club has requested £10 million to keep Egyptian midfielder Mohammed el-Neny in the current summer player transfers, UK newspaper the Sun reported Tuesday.

The transfer price for 25-year-old el-Neny is non negotiable, Arsenal announced, after many clubs were willing to buy him this season. Galatasaray S.K and Leicester clubs are among the interested organizations willing to accept the deal.

El-Neny, however, is happy to remain at the Gunners, despite limited game time, saying he “adores life in London.”

According to the Sun Thursday, Arsenal had already accepted a £10 million bid from Leicester for Mohamed el-Neny, but the Egyptian player turned down the Foxes’ deal.

El-Neny moved to Arsenal in January 2016 from Swiss club Basel for around £5 million, to join an array of midfield players such as Aaron Ramsey, Francis Cukolin, Granite Chaka and Alex Chamberlain.
