Curfew hours reduced

The Cabinet agreed on Thursday to reduce the daily curfew to four hours from 1 am until 5 am, with the exception of Fridays during which the curfew will remain from 7 pm until 5 am.
The curfew was initially imposed following the forced dispersals of mass, pro-Morsy sit-ins on 14 August. The curfew was then reduced on 19 Septmeber from 11 pm – 5 am to 12 am – 5 am. The Friday curfew has been maintained as Fridays continue to be a day of protests calling for the reinstatement of former President Mohammad Morsy.
